Autumn Recipe: Cinnamon Cloud Forest Elixir

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups hot water or brewed black/rooibos tea
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp ground cinnamon)
  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 tsp coconut milk or oat milk (for creaminess)
  • Pinch of nutmeg or clove (for extra warmth)

Instructions:

  1. Steep the cinnamon stick in hot water for 10 minutes as you breathe deeply and feel gratitude for the elements — fire (heat), water (tea), earth (spice), and air (breath).
  2. Add honey and a splash of milk.
  3. Sprinkle with nutmeg or clove.
  4. Create your own mindfulness ceremony, sipping slowly near a window or outside and observing your surroundings. Watch the light and leaves move, honoring the quiet beauty of the changing season.
